I have seen Bilal in Chicago, DC and MD and I cannot wait to see him again! My daughter introduced him to me when she was in college and the talent, the range and eccentricity of his style, I just adore!

  • More funk please

by Bass Lady on 11/18/24New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 3 out of 5

I thought the show was good; could’ve used some more Latin funk! Christian was amazing , so was Ray Chew and the backup singers (except for the screamer). Savion and George Clinton? Legendary!!!

  • Bilal

by Gem615 on 11/17/24New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 4 out of 5

Show was good but not what I expected when purchasing tickets, thought it was his show but he didn’t perform any of his songs. Advertisement was false .

  • Top performance and top artists. Poor acoustics.

by Ricardo Tavares on 11/17/24New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 4 out of 5

The room appears to be very good but not in this particular night. Only the side array of speakers were mounted. No Center speakers. I don't know if that was the source of the problem but the fact is that the room suffered from reverbation that contributed to a muddy overall experience. Some technical work to be done.

  • Young Artist vs Old School Music

Bilal was Wonderful. He added a little twist on Old School Jazz and Blues. He knew how to interact with The Elders and had respect for Original Jazz and Blues Artist and Music

  • Bilal Live In Somerville

by DanaMA on 10/22/24Crystal Ballroom at Somerville Theatre - SomervilleRating: 5 out of 5

I've been listening to Bilal's body of work for sometime now way before his current work with Robert Glasper (His Former College Roommate ) or his work on Kendrick Lamar's Pimp A Butterfly album I enjoyed the look and sound at Crystal Ballroom in Somerville it was my first time there and my first time seeing Bilal live. His band was great in sound and style they complimented Bilal's voice. He kept the crowd intrigued with each song he had written or had been apart of. He moved the audience with each song. Great show was experienced that evening for all.

  • Marvelous, Magnificent!

    by J-Sun on 10/14/24Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

Bilal as usual killed, but in this venue, I was right next to the stage! He was his usual entertaining and captivating self as a performer...I just watched a short portion of All Matter that I recorded on my phone and chills went up my spine. It was a wonderful concert for my wife and I, who are both huge fans.
