  • Ok performance at ASU Gammage

Loved the music but the leading lady didn't sound great. We went on the last night so it's possible she was having issues with her voice. She sounded like she was straining and not always in key or with the music. Also, several of the actors were a bit boring to watch, just standing there with arms at their sides not doing much but singing. To me, Mamma Mia should have more life! But overall it was fun and we enjoyed the show.

I picked really good seats, could see everything well. ABBA music is one of my favorites and this show did not disappoint. I’ve seen it 3 times and both movies many times. Total feel good stuff. The actors played their parts well and made you believe! I’m sure I’ll see it live again!

I've seen Mamma Mia a couple of times. This was by far the best version I've seen so far. It made me laugh so hard it hurt. Very impressive performers.

  • Hilarious, wonderful show

We saw Mama Mia at gammage and it was excellent. My mom had seen it before and said this was better. The actress playing the mom was exquisite. I would see it again just to hear her sing again. The women who played her friends were hysterical and performed some great physical comedy. The music is just so good and even though it wasn’t written for the exact scenarios in the show, the vibe of the songs provides so much of the emotion the show. We thoroughly enjoyed the show!

We saw Mama Mia years ago, and loved it. This newer version was excellent! It was hilarious, and fun to watch. The actors, singers, and dancers, were exceptional!

  • Mama Mia

My daughter and I love, love this movie and the musical did not let us down. It was engaging, funny, not a dull moment in the 2.5hrs. The only negative I'd say was more to the venue and sound management. Often the orchestra music was louder than the singer so made it hard to understand a few lines/words. We were sitting in Orchestra B, row 20 so seating for the performance was perfect.

  • Third time

Our third show and it just keeps getting better!! The small changes made were exactly what the show needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. We can’t wait for the next tour.

  • Dress the Part

by Can’t Stop Singing on 6/3/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

Our family went to the show wearing clothes that fit the theme of wedding in Greece. We were thrilled to see others in similar themed attire. It added to the experience of the show. The music draws you in with exceptional performances. The time flew by in magical splendor. This show is worth every penny!

  • Expected more

    by F Alicia on 6/3/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 3 out of 5

It was fine I just expected more. The set was plain and boring. No real set change between acts. No complaint in regards to the performers.
