PBR: Professional Bull Riders on Tour
For a rodeo rider, trying to master a feisty horse is tough enough, a task not to be taken lightly, but bearing down on a big bull increases the scariness quotient considerably. That's one of the things that makes watching a pro bull rider so compelling — it's thrilling and frightening in equal measure as you marvel at the riders' skills while praying that they make it out unscathed.
These days, when it comes to bull riding, it's all about PBR: Professional Bull Riders. The organization started back in 1992 as a grassroots effort spearheaded by a handful of riders with a vision for what the sport could offer to fans. PBR grew by leaps and bounds over the decades, and by the 2010s they were sponsoring three major tours every year, adding up to hundreds of events with millions of dollars in prizes being awarded annually.
Needless to say, attending a PBR event means watching the best bull riders in the business strutting their stuff. Over the years, champs like J.B. Mauney, Kody Lostroh, Justin McBride, Adriano Moraes, Chris Shivers, and Tuff Hedeman have all distinguished themselves as decorated heroes of the PBR, giving all the rest a high standard to which they could aspire. And each of their tours offer fans the opportunity to catch some bull riding history in the making, be it the Unleash the Beast Series that ends with the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, The Velocity Tour that showcases the rising stars of the PBR, or the Touring Pro Division split into Western, Central, and Eastern regions.
Whichever PBR competition you end up catching, there's one common thread. You're guaranteed to see some world-class athletes reaching deep inside themselves to tap into the best of their talents and give rodeo lovers an unforgettable experience.
I watch the part many years ago in mohegan sun. I wish they would come back! We had such a great time. Bridgeport and NY are just too far, especially when your bringing pre teens! Please consider coming back!
Easy parking close by, Venue was clean and easy to navigate. As always, concessions are way over priced but what can you do. The MC and riders (and Bulls!) put on a great show! Worth the drive from Toronto to see our first PBR event. However, the PBR Merch as really lacking. Not inspired at all, crazy pricing. We went with a few hundred dollars for a budget on merch and didn't see anything of interest. PBR, you have to do better!

Had a great time at PBR. Was entertained and had lots of laughs throughout. They did stretch out the whole performance a bit.
The overall vibe of the experience was amazing. I would have chosen to sit closer had I known that there would be as much involving of the audience in between riders. The pyrotechnics were amazing, but the only downfall was the fuel smell in the arena was strong. The entertainer in between riders was extremely engaging and put on a good show.
Right from the start the show flames introduction was good. A real shoe. Then the entertainment was different yet exciting. The riders themselves were awesome. Would love to go again
This is the best show Brandon has to offer. You get music, entertainment and excitement. Every time someone I know gets tickets they say it wasn’t at all what they expected. The Bulls, Bull riders, Bull Fighters and Brinson (entertainer) are all absolutely amazing!!!
Took my wife and both boys 17 and 24 for our 1st ever PBR. The seats I selected were perfect see everything in section 112. Already looking forward to next years PBR.
Grab a couple beers and go with your boys. It's truly a fantastic and exhilarating experience.
Went there with a bunch of girlfriends and we all had a blast! What a fun event!
