About

Vocalist Roger Daltrey, guitarist Pete Townshend and bassist John Entwistle formed The Who in London in 1964, welcoming Keith Moon on drums later that year. From the band’s inception and the release of their debut single “I Can’t Explain,” The Who were on the vanguard of music, art, and culture, maintaining a reputation for onstage theatrics and high-concept performances. Their seminal 1969 release, Tommy, pioneered the concept of a rock opera, and the 1971 follow-up, Who’s Next, further cemented the band in the annals of music history, featuring iconic tracks like “Baba O’Riley” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again.” The Who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and have achieved multi-platinum status with over 43 million albums sold worldwide. Daltrey and Townshend have continued as The Who in live settings and new releases alike, most recently with the release of 2019’s Who and the acclaimed Who Hits Back! orchestral tour, which wrapped in 2023. In 2025, The Who will embark on their final tour throughout the U.S., titled The Song is Over.

  • Great experience

by ExCoastie on 5/16/25Rating: 5 out of 5

This was 1977 in Oakland CA. The Days on the Green were an event in itself for those that remember. The Grateful Dead opened for the Who. This was with all the original band members. I was so impressed by how tight they were. The sound was incredible. Pete Townsend sporting a white pair of coveralls and slinging that white Gibson Les Paul with the number 1 at the base. ( I’m wondering how many do you have Pete). Keith Moons summersault entrance and showmanship on the skins. Daltry’s voice was powerful. I was most impressed by John Entwistle. The way those fingers would dance up and down the neck of his bass effortlessly while looking out at us in the crowd with no emotion and very little movement except for that left hand working between the frets. Greatest bass player ever lived. The entire show has stuck with me for decades.

by Bianca on 12/8/22Rating: 5 out of 5

It was a great concert they played all there Hits at least most and rodgers voice was great The opening act band had a strange name and I think they should had more security some of the songs were a bit boring and Pete’s voice on baby O’Reily was a little bad but I have not told you all the good parts. I loved the orchestra the song were played well I could tell the orchestra was well rehearsed and over all the performance just a great concert if you are reading these to see if you should go it’s the Best Buy the tickets it’s worth the price

  • Who rock on

by Smusso on 12/4/22United Center - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

They still got it even if they use a orchestra to help them out but they have been doing this for the last few tours now so I’m alright with it as long as I can still enjoy them live. Thanks for giving us our legends some more time for us to enjoy them even if I’m being selfish!

  • Excellent show

  • Solid performance

by ELO Fan on 11/21/22Honda Center - AnaheimRating: 4 out of 5

The Who is amazing, they are icons. All of the people that work at the Honda Center are very nice. We had an issue with the prepaid parking, sitting in line for about 15 minutes. We missed part of the first act due to the parking issue. Also, the restrooms had water on the floor, and a woman fell at the sink. She seemed to be okay, but it was unnecessary.

  • The Who Concert!!

by Big Dave on 11/16/22Hollywood Bowl - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

    It was great, but it went too fast. They didn't play some real old stuff. Like "My Generation, Join Together, I can see for Miles'. But it was good to see them. Wish that Keith Moon was alive. Along with the Original Bass player. But they did sound good. Can't wait till the next tour!!;

  • Fantastic concert

by Sunshine on 11/15/22Honda Center - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great time at this concert. Good seats, wonderful people I met and really enjoyed the show. I was singing along having a good time. The price for this seat was very reasonable. Recommend you come and see a concert. You will enjoy it.

  • Better than Portland

by Blanche on 11/15/22Dolby Live - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I saw these guys in portland a few weeks ago but this was even better. The venue had fantastic acoustics and I didn't feel like wearing earplugs because I was in a basketball stadium. They played with much more feeling and heart. They seemed so relaxed and like they were playing to me. I have been to at least a dozen or more Who concerts and this was by far one of the best. I loved the orchestra and being able to experience Tommy and Quadrophenia as it should be. Yes they are old but roger especially seemed to enjoy himself and wasnt just singing to get it done but more like singing to share with the audience. I saw v them 40 years ago for b the first time and the energy was still there only redirected. The slide show during Quad was moving and emotional and well put together. I cried a bunch! But a good kinda cry! Ib well love v them forever!!! Long live rock!!
