  • Fantastic show

by Tigger on 11/10/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San BernardinoRating: 5 out of 5

This ballet was excellent! The costumes were fabulous, scenery was awesome, and the dancing incredible! It was my first full ballet show I had ever attended, but with the excellence of this performance, it will not be my last .

  • Beautiful ballet

by Tammy on 11/10/23California Theatre of the Performing Arts - San BernardinoRating: 5 out of 5

My mom and I absolutely loved the ballet ! So beautiful, comedic, beautiful costumes and such graceful ballerinas.

  • Enjoyable

by Big Fan on 11/9/23Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand OaksRating: 4 out of 5

The ballet itself was enjoyable. The seats were very uncomfortable....too hard and rigid backs and there's no leg room for a tall person.

  • A very fun ballet

by TheCount on 11/8/23Fred Kavli Theatre- B of A Performing Arts Center,Thousand Oaks - Thousand OaksRating: 5 out of 5

The Cinderella ballet was the most fun ballet that I have watched, because the dancers portraying the evil stepsisters and evil stepmother danced and performed in an amusing way to ridicule those characters. The other dancers were good, too.

  • Beautiful

My daughter age 15 & I really enjoy the ballet and also so all the mothers/fathers and daughter there. It was adsorbable to see the little girls dressed up.

  • Magical

by Stephie on 10/30/23Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The sets and costumes were beautiful and the little moments of humor made for an entertaining production. It was just the right length for a family outing.

  • Cinderella unemotional

by EDED on 10/24/23E.J. Thomas Hall - The University of Akron - AkronRating: 4 out of 5

Cinderella's dress needed to be blue color to match the story history. The ballerina who played Cinderella showed little emotion during her performance compared to the other performers. The Stepmother and Stepsisters were excellent expressing their relationship and overpowering Cinderella. Overall, the show was entertaining and worth the experience.

  • Superb performance

by Heather on 10/23/23Topeka Performing Arts Center - TopekaRating: 5 out of 5

I loved everything about this delightful performance from beginning to end. I absolutely loved all the performers top notch professional and amazing to watch. I particularly loved the evil step mother she exemplified her character and was so fun to watch. I am so glad I had the opportunity to go.

  • Beautiful performance

Really enjoyed the performance, very pretty costumes.

  • It was okay...

by mll on 10/22/23Topeka Performing Arts Center - TopekaRating: 3 out of 5

The costuming and sets were well done. The quality of the production was less than I was expecting, similar to an amateur production. My biggest pet peeve was that there were no programs available.. not even a QR code available in the lobby. We had no idea who the dancers were, and that was disappointing.

  • Disappointed

by Patti F on 10/16/23Mayo Civic Center Auditorium - RochesterRating: 2 out of 5

We were very excited to see this. I ordered 7 seats on main floor. We had 3 - 11 year Olds and the stage was obstructed pretty bad. Terrible seating. It also was so hot during the first hour. Then at intermission, we went to get popcorn and pretzels. Both were gone already. We were told they didn't to be busy. Very disappointing event.

  • Disney on Ice

by BalletFan on 10/16/23Mayo Civic Center Auditorium - RochesterRating: 2 out of 5

The dancing was beautiful and the costumes and painted backdrops spectacular. My main issue is the audience and the venue. Instead of a theater, it was set up in a community auditorium, I’m guessing to sell more tickets. As such, the seating was folding chairs (padded but still hard) and it was hard to see anything. The audience was also mostly little kids with parents which was to be expected but it didn’t seem like the staff did anything to enforce theater etiquette. The show started 15 minutes late and the women with kids behind me wouldn’t shut up. I could understand maybe helping littler kids every once in a while but they had something to say for every new character that appeared and every new dance sequence. All the little girls in princess costumes were really cute but it felt more like a Disney on Ice event with photo ops than a chance for them to experience great art and culture. I really want to give the actual performance and dancers a higher rating the the experience was not good.

  • My Cinderella review

by Nancy on 10/14/23Adler Theatre - DavenportRating: 3 out of 5

If you didn’t know the story, you would not be able to follow the program. You really didn’t get the affect that Cinderella was really unliked by the mother and stepsister. Figured out later that the man was a dance instructor. Would have liked to have seen the fairy godmother have a little more to do with transforming Cinderella than she did. I have never seen a ballet before, and was very impressed with the beauty of it. The way they could dance and the spinning on their toes, it was simply amazing. I noticed that there was a lot of little girls attending, I wonder how they kept interested in the show.

  • Good

by Mom on 10/14/23Adler Theatre - DavenportRating: 3 out of 5

It was a decent show, but I would have loved to get something to tell me everything going on and who was in the show. The new technology with the QR code doesn’t work with kids. It’s a little ridiculous considering the amount of money spent. We also had front row seats and they were awful. Four girls (8-10) couldn’t even see the ballerina’s feet due to the way the stage was set up. There should be a warning when buying tickets to be at least 6’ tall. I am 5’8” and had to sit completely straight in order to see. Disappointed.

  • Entertaining and enjoyable

by GmaK on 10/14/23Adler Theatre - DavenportRating: 5 out of 5

The dancers were wonderful and the backdrops created the mood. This was my 16 yr old Granddaughter's first ballet and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • Wonderful Performance, Bad Audience

by KevinH on 10/11/23Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

My wife and I really enjoyed the ballet, but certain individuals that were seated around us were incinerate and annoying. There were a couple that sat in front of us in the wrong seats, and when they were asked to move during the performance, they either didn't want to move or didn't have the understanding that they had to move. The family that moved the couple out of their seats, had a child that like to sit on the edge of the seat and on the parent's lap making very difficult to see the ballet. I had to use some of my wife's view to see the ballet. They and a few individuals behind us must have been bored with the ballet because they liked to talk during the show. Even though my wife and I had issues with people around us, I will still go to see this ballet again and/or go back to this venue.

  • The Louisville Palace attending World Ballet Series

by Elizabeth on 10/11/23The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The Louisville Palace is always a beautiful venue for any event, but a ballet, amazing! The World Ballet dancers & stage set was a complete delightful surprise. I would attend another World Ballet Series event.
