  • Excellent Show

by Sal & Friends on 6/7/25Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

This production was outstanding. The music, of course, was excellent. The story and the acting blew me away. I was not familiar with the story of the Temptationa even though I grew up listening to their music in my home. Everything and everyone was on point. I’d suggest this show to everyone. It’s a must see. And even if you think you may not k it the music, you do. This was a great way to celebrate my birthday with family and friends.

  • Absolutely AWESOME!

by Franco on 6/5/25Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

A super talented group of young singers, actors and dancers at the top of their game! Each performer, especially the band members, was perfect for their part. Had me grooving, crying and laughing. Also reminds me of the effort it takes to put on a fantastic experience like Ain’t To Proud. And why I’m now one of the gray hairs in the audience. Great job all

  • Amazingly good

by Kathy HZ on 6/4/25Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

I loved all of the performers to include both their voices and their dancing. They were so excited to please the audience, and they did. My only disappointment was they didn't sing the entire song. They stopped short of completing it and there was another problem within the Temptations Group. I would definitely recommend this Musical to those who didn't get the opportunity to see it!

I really enjoyed learning how The Temptations got established! The songs brought back memories of years past when I listened & danced to their music! The voices were great & the choreographed moves were a joy to watch!

I am a performing artist. A STORYTELLER. The TEMPS have always been my favorite R&B group. This show told stories about the group that I never knew. It allowed me to revisit my youth in a totally unexpected way. I LOVED every minute! :-) P.S.....I saw the show on my 78th birthday! The singing and dancing were phenomenal!

If you get the chance to go watch this....DO IT!! The performances of all the artists was awesome! I saw it last fall in Rochester, saw it again here at Shea's Theater. Would go again! Loved it! On another note, the ushers and ticket/doormen were very helpful to my husband and I at Shea's. Thank you! ❤️

  • Great Show

Having followed the Temptations since I was a child there were emotional moments about David, Eddie, Paul and Melvin that touched me! I first saw them live in Syracuse NY when Dennis took David's place after Dr. King's passing. Have seen them 3 times more with other lead singers. This show did a great job at telling their story with their music development through out!
