Bloc Party Tickets

I bought tickets to see Metric but was pleasantly surprised by Bloc Party. Thet are much better live than recorded and I would definitely see them again.

Bloc Party crushed it. Festival vibes on a beautiful Chicago night despite early rain. Need to see them again asap.

The opening bands really gave it their best, and did a great job. You could tell Bloc Party were on the clock, and were looking to punch in and punch out in under 90 minutes. Every song was played so fast that you could barely keep up (let along sing along). There was no "working the crowd"or interludes, etc. Show up, bang out 20 songs, and leave. The vocals were essentially mumbled in the last few songs. Worse yet, they didn't even play a handful of songs from the very album they were advertising to be playing! Complete cash grab of a show. Was Bloc Party there? Yes. Was the magic of their music? Certainly not.

The drummer was phenomenal, Kele's voice was beautiful and the band overall didn't disappoint! My only concern is that all of the Detroit area fans didn't show up (I know they can't be at every show), so what ended up being a nice venue that could seat 5000, seemed to have less than 2000. Of course if there were a booking at the Cathedral or Filmore, it would have sold out!! Love Bloc Party!! I hope they know many in the great Motown love them!

Great venue and was easy to get in and out. Show was fantastic, Bloc Party killed it. Even with the rain there were covered areas and the venue had ponchos for sale.

Bloc Party puts on a great show. Great crowd, and salt shed was a fantastic venue. If you like bloc party, you'll love them live.

They didn't play all of Silent Alarm, even though the marketing materials for the show heavily implied they would. Sound was a bit muddy, the energy coming from the stage was a bit off, the camera would often linger on uninteresting things like guitarists adjusting their pedals and effects. I bought tickets for this show wanting to see Metric and neglected to get a refund by the deadline. That's my fault.

Got upgraded to pit and I got barricade.best show ever!!! Everyone at the venue is super nice. Will go again.

Bloc Party was brilliant. Banger after banger. I enjoyed the light show as well. Only wish it didn't end.

Bloc Party puts on an amazing show, ALWAYS. The drummer was amazing and it was an exceptionally long set. My only frustration is the line up originally included Metric when I bought tickets and there was no notification that they dropped out. That was a huge disappointment, but Bloc Party made my night amazing despite that!
