Boston Red Sox History

The Boston Red Sox hold a unique legacy in baseball. At one point known as an infamously cursed franchise, the team is now one of MLB’s most decorated. Although once known for an 86-year championship drought credited to the “Curse of the Bambino,” the Red Sox have secured nine World Series titles, with four in the 21st century. The team officially broke the curse with their 2004 championship run, led by future Hall of Famers David Ortiz and Pedro Martínez. That run included a legendary playoff matchup against historic rivals(Opens in new tab) the New York Yankees in which the Red Sox became the first team to come back and win a playoff series after falling down 3–0. Three more championships followed in 2007, 2013 and 2018.

Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park

Fenway Park(Opens in new tab), opened in 1912 near Boston's Kenmore Square, is the oldest American ballpark still in use and one of the most beloved. With its unique, angular layout and hulking "Green Monster" in left field, the baseball park has retained much of its signature quirkiness. In its centennial year in 2012, Fenway Park was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Nowhere in the description of the tickets was there a mention of obstructed viewing seats.
