This was the best show I have been to all summer! Caroline's voice live is incredible. She is like a queer goddess of rainbows, joy, and soul. The opening act, Zach Day also brought down the house. Listen to all of his music, too. The venue was great, as well. Intimate and full of the die hard Caroline Kingsbury fans (who didn't have work in the morning or who didn't care). You can tell her fans are madly in love with her and the feeling is clearly mutual. She was giving all the love and all the vibes. Izzy Fontaine killing it up there on stage and Daniel Possehl coming in last minute to just pick up every one of those songs on drums? Amazing. It was like a party with familiar strangers, all of us there to celebrate our Kween. I cannot wait for the new album and single coming out in the near future. If you ever have the chance to see her live, do it.
