Chase & Status have been hailed as being the most exciting producers in the UK today. Multi-award winning, platinum record selling producers, writers and musicians, these lads are two good friends from London who started up their own label, MTA Records, in Manchester. Seeing a Chase & Status concert is a lot like going to the best electronic music rave you could imagine. With the two DJing and singing, along with backup on drums and beats, every moment is filled with pulsating sounds and excitement. If you’re lucky enough to score a ticket to a tour or shows at Future Music Festival in Australia, you’ll get to experience the incendiary action for yourself. Their newest album Brand New Machine released in October 2013 and peaked at No. 2 on the UK Albums chart.

The two met at Manchester University in the mid-1990s and bonded over their mutual love of drum and bass music. They began DJing as a team, then started producing tracks for underground artists and for popular mainstream artists, including Rihanna and Rita Ora, soon after. Their albums have been packed with the kind of drum and bass dubstep action that has gained them critical laudation for years. “Pieces,” one of their recent hits, which features Plan B, and “Against All Odds,” featuring Kano, have both seen lots of recent airplay. Snoop Dogg samples one of their tracks from the Eastern Jam album for his song, “Snoop Dogg Millionaire.” With the amount of work these guys are able to accomplish, it's hard to believe they have time to tour on top of it all! They are fan-pleasers above all else, though, which is why thousands flock to each and every one of their legendary live shows.

    Chase was on point. It has been a years since I went to DnB show and Chase definitely delivered. It was my first Chase and Status show. I felt bad for the opening DJs because their sound wasn't there. When Chase got on the stage the sound definitely straightened up for the vocal tracks and the ultra bass tracks. It was amazing and the turnout was great.

    Only one of them show up to perform and he left the stage at midnight. Wasn’t even a 2 hour show and the entire crowd was dumbfounded.

    havent been to bayou center in quite some time so i didnt know what to expect. entry was super smooth, getting a drink was no problem, plenty of bars open, bartenders were nice and friendly, prices were about what was expected. the show was amazing from beginning to end, xilla and the the other opener along with the live drummer(didnt know that was happening, was a nice touch)were great, havent heard much from long story short but he totally blew me away, great selection, great mixing, loved the variety in the set, would see again for sure. chase and status absolutely incredible!!! expect nothing less than that from the legend. highly recommend anywhere in the world to see all of these great artists!! lights, visuals, sound(coulda turned up the bass just a touch but whateva) all on point!!! thank you for having this tour here and would love to have more shows like this in houston!! p.s thank you for keeping the entry low in these hard times, that itself is much appreciated <3

    It was good to see everyone and have an excuse to unite under the Chase&Status god. However, the setting of this building mixed with the guarded nature of the employees made for a situation in which I felt trapped rather than free. The venue juxtaposes the nature of the music, and what it represents, in asinine way.

    Echostage is amazing. Besides the ridiculously hot night bc of the heat wave, the night was fire. You can never go wrong with going out to witness Chase and Status! Seriously, add it to your bucket list! Always a pinch cooler upstairs.

    The show was great and we had a great time, however the capacity seems way over for sold out shows or close to it. There was hardly any room to dance or walk to a different spot when you got smothered in the middle. It only got better when it got later because people left but if you got there early to get a good spot, and then get smothered and try to move, it's extremely difficult.

    What a great time. The facility was nice. Security was good and thorough. Bar was clean, drinks orders came quick. Restrooms were clean and aplenty. The building was cool inside and I was entertained all night. The show was awesome. All the djs rocked. Chase and Status killed it! So much energy in the crowd. Most memorable birthday for me.
