Formed in 2013, Hollow Coves is an uplifting indie/folk group out of Brisbane, Australia. We believe it's pretty fundamental for everyday living." Hollow Coves Live In Concert

Band members Matt Carins and Ryan Henderson both share immense talent on guitar and vocals. The two met through a mutual friend who wanted to introduce them after a band breakup. Neither one of them was ever looking for a career in music; only an occasional jam session. Growing up, Carins lived in a very musical household. His father plays in a cover band, his brother plays in an alternative band, his sister plays piano, and his mother teaches piano and flute. Hendersonn on the other hand, had no musical upbringing whatsoever. His love for guitar came shortly after his high school buddies took him to the Woodford Folk Festival. Despite their different upbringings, the two just exude natural talent. In 2014, Hollow Coves began to develop a strong online following after the release of their EP, Drifting. The following year, it grew again after One Direction's Louis Tomlinson tweeted about loving the band. This was all followed by the release of their breakout single, "The Woods," which appeared in the television show "Scorpion." Shortly after, Hollow Coves released their EP Wanderlust, which landed them more than 2 million streams. Hollow Coves won Breakout Artist of the Year and Song of the Year at the Gold Coast Music Awards in 2018. The band's debut LP, 2019's Moments, topped the iTunes charts across Australia, Canada, Germany, and Spain.
