Michigander, who delivers elevated and eloquent songcraft, uplifting instrumentation, and plainspoken heartland storytelling punctuated by alternative flare, has racked up over 60 million career streams globally and garnered the acclaim of NPR, Paste, Consequence, SPIN, Forbes, BrooklynVegan, Guitar World, Ones To Watch, and more. In 2016, the now Nashville-based singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist's independent debut single "Nineties" achieved viral success, claiming real estate on multiple major Spotify playlists. Michigander's first two EPs, Midland [2018] and Where Do We Go From Here [2019], have become fan favorites, with the latter's standout single "Misery" eclipsing 10 million streams and earning Michigander his first Triple A radio hit. 2021's critically lauded EP Everything Will Be Ok Eventually (C3 Records) elevated his career via the Top 5 Triple A radio hit "Let Down" and Top 10 Triple A radio hit "Better." On the road, Michigander has shared the stage with Manchester Orchestra, Band of Horses, The Lumineers, Hippo Campus, Mt. Joy, and graced the stages of such marquee festivals as Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, Summerfest, Shaky Knees and more as well as SXSW. In 2023, Michigander was back, breaking personal records, charting at radio again, and on the road with a new set of songs and a re-energized passion for his craft. Listen to the latest EP It Will Never Be The Same everywhere, out now via C3 Records and look out for a new project coming from Singer in '24.

The show was outstanding. Sydney Sprague started the night off with great vocals and a great set of songs. Had never heard her music before. I'm a fan. Had been wanting to see Michigander for a long time but could not find a good date. Happened to be in Tampa the same weekend from Chicago and did not regret it. First time seeing Michigander after listening to the band for many years. They did not disappoint. The playlist was top notch and the sound was great. The band was on point and the crowd reflected that back with energy and passion. I think it was the first time the band has been to Tampa. If you haven't seen them...check them out. Can't wait for a Chicago date in the future.
Loved this show! We saw Michigander at the Atlantis, which is a great, small atmosphere to see a band. We only knew a couple of Michigander songs, but those we knew, we really liked. The band exceeded our expectations. And they rocked! Never a dull moment and the music was great. On top of it, the band seemed genuinely appreciative of having sold out the show and having so many fans attend the concert. We definitely would see them again, have told others to see the band if they can. No doubt the next time they play DC, they will be playing a bigger venue.
Loved the energy from both the stage and crowd! Great voice!
If you haven't heard of Michigander, you're missing out! Great music, fun atmosphere and an awesome venue. I can't wait to see this band get noticed! They're SO good!!!!
Heard Michigander for the first time as the opener for Crowded House in Niagra Falls. Really enjoyed their set and saw they were coming to Detroit so we all (5) decided to go to the show. Fell in love with the music and even more so after hearing them with a full band. Love the upbeat lyrics and catchy melodies. Well done, will be looking for the next time they visit Detroit.
Regular size beers were like $13 each. For s smaller venue like this I would have expected more reasonable prices.
Michigander put on an engaging show rolling out a mix of the best of their discography. Band is tight and entertaining and you can sense their star continues rising. My only complaint…set was too short!
We have seen Michigander twice now! Always a great show!
What can I say, Michigander are great! Just as Fantastic love as on record! Great stage presence and wonderfully engaging. Can’t wait to see them again!
