About

NEIL YOUNG IN CONCERT:

Singer-songwriter legend Neil Young thrilled fans in 2013 with the announcement of North American and European tour dates alongside his longtime collaborative band Crazy Horse. Among the highly-coveted 2014 dates are four nights at Carnegie Hall as well as a series of “Honor of Treaties” benefit concerts with Diana Krall to aid the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation Legal Defense Fund.

“Neil Young and Crazy Horse play like the rock and roll legends that they are. Truly a great show reminiscent of the classics from the early days.”

“They weren't going through the motions, they were making them. Improvising, jamming, messing up, laughing, only in the way Neil and the Horse can. They were so tightly tuned in to one another and sounded great, but the best part was that they seemed happy to be there, happy to perform.”

“Neil is a genius! After all these years, he still rocks and puts on a great show!”

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Since the late '60s, Young has released over 35 studio albums, exploring such diverse genres  as country-folk, pop, noise, punk, and electronica. He’s best known, however, for his iconic folk rock songwriting, popularized by his hugely successful collaborations with Crazy Horse and supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Never content to rest on his laurels, Young has remained musically prolific and sonically experimental, earning rave reviews for his 2012 double-LP release Psychedelic Pill.

  • Neil Came Home

Neil played to 1900 avid fans at an outdoor charity concert in Lakefield Ont. Just him, his guitars, a banjo, a harmonica and 2 pianos. It was pouring rain and cold and absolutely wonderful. He played all of his hits and then some…. We knew all the words and sang along. His voice is the same as always. A memorable night for sure!

  • The Great Neil young

This was a great concert, if you like the golden oldies. All acoustic and 90 minutes of tunes.

  • Neil Young is amazing RAIN OR SHINE

by Mary Pat from Omemee on 5/26/25The Farm at Lakefield College School - LakefieldRating: 5 out of 5

This event was so well organized and despite the rain (and we aren't just talking light drizzle) it was just an amazing show. Neil played an EIGHTEEN song set list an of course for this girl from the 'hood, HELPLESS was my favourite. Neil's voice is strong and passionate, his playing is as good as ever! I avoid "oldie"concerts like the plague, but as my daughter put in, "Neil still shreds!!!". Keep on keeping on Neil.

  • Not what I expected.

Didn’t hear much Blues music as advertised. The host Ken was a little much.

  • Barely any Neil

by SLB on 5/1/25Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 3 out of 5

It wasn’t a Neil Young Concert! Ticketmaster stop advertising it was. It was an Autism fundraiser with multiple bands/singers. Neil only played an hour. A bit disappointing as I thought I it was a Neil Young concert.

  • Took a while to get going, finished strong

by ScottP on 4/30/25Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

The show took a long time to get going. There were fairly tedious comedy fillers while they changed equipment between sets. Eventually Stephen Stills started playing, and did some good songs, although not like when he was younger. But then we got the huge treat of seeing Stills and Young play together again, a truly awesome combination and one that I may never be lucky enough to see again. Neil Young played a fine solo set to cap off the evening, and it seemed like everyone left in great spirits.

  • Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the show including being with my wife of many years. It all turned out so good. Enjoyed all of the bands and entertainers. Ken Jung did a great job at MC. Not sure I spelled his name right. Billy Idol was a surprise. Steven Stills and his son Chris and their band were good and of course Neil Young and his band never lets you down. Loved it all. Thank You.

It was moving and inspirational , to bring awesomeness to Autism . I knew that’s what the show was going to be about . Yet, I was moved emotionally to be more aware of autism moving forward

  • Autism Speaks - Light Up the Blues was awesome!

A magical evening! So many talented artists, including including some on the on the Autism Spectrum, in addition to the headliners, Neil Young, Stephen Stills, and Billy Idol! The California Bluegrass Association's Spectrum Bluegrass Band's debut performance, Singer-Songwriter Abby Romeo performing "Waterslide", and seeing Neil Young and Stephen Stills together again were some of the major highlights. Hats off to Autism Speaks for putting on this wonderful concert!
