I enjoyed so much Shaun's performance at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. It was a small venue and it was great to be able to see him and hear him clearly. Shaun comes from a great entertainment family and I was so happy to hear a few stories he would mention about his family. I especially enjoyed hearing about his step-brother, David. It was such a lovely tribute to David. I enjoyed all his songs and also a few Christmas songs as well. I have seen Shaun perform two years ago in Atlanta, GA at a small venue. I would definitely see him again!
I enjoyed Shaun's Ponte Vedra Beach, FL show. Shaun still sounds and looks good. He talked to the audience and related well with the audience. He talked about David, his parents, his wife and children, and people he grew up knowing. He talked about writing new songs and sang parts of the new songs while playing the piano. He sang That's Rock N Roll, Lonely Teenage Idol (Boy), a Partridge Family song, a song from the play Blood Brothers, Da Do Run Run, and Christmas songs. I hope Shaun does continue to write new songs and will continue to sing for the public.
I loved seeing Shaun Like I posted on Facebook I finally got to see my teenage heartthrob in concert I was excited and sang along with him to almost everything song he sang
It was the most 'different' type of show I have ever been to. It was so personal and intimate, sharing his personal family stories, memories and experiences. He performed some of his wonderful songs from my younger years that brought back so many memories. It was truly a great evening, emotional, happy, dancing and listening to Shaun sing in a 'new' voice that was amazing. My only downside was that it seemed to go by in a flash. Come back soon, we are waiting!!!
Shaun Cassidy is a truly gifted entertainer and the years have not diminished his talent on any level— on the contrary! Shaun engaged the audience by sharing humorous anecdotes from his experiences and delighted everyone with his music and Christmas songs. Tribute to David with Cole was icing on the cake-Best Show Ever! What a Great Night— he is as loved today as he was back in the day, if not more!
Maybe I hyped myself up too much before the show or maybe I see too many concerts to compare this to, but I was sadly disappointed with this show. There was no real energy in the show at all. The sound was not great. I did enjoy his stories about growing up in Beverly Hills. He still sounds good, not great, but good. I am glad I went but I would not go see him again.
From 1978 to 2023 Shaun Cassidy still has IT. A wonderful storyteller and a wonderful singer, Shaun, Lon and Cole made it a memorable night. The venue was small and intimate, just what you want for a returning teen idol. His stories of his family, theirs and his fame were insightful, touching, warm and funny. If you have the chance, go see Shaun Cassidy before he decides to hibernate for another 40 years!
Shaun was at his best telling stories. He brought back memories and had everyone feeling like a teenager again. It was a great show and I would recommend it to anyone. If you were teenager when Shaun was on the top of the charts then bring your teenager to share in the experience.
It was nice to see Shaun Cassidy and great to hear songs from the old days. He is a better singer than I remembered, and the song from Blood Brothers that he performed with his nephew was wonderful. He is still a wonderful storyteller, and it was great to hear his remembrances, particularly of his brother, David. The venue was small and cramped. People were sitting right on top of us. I would see him again, just not at this venue. Given the surroundings, the seats were very overpriced.
Shaun Cassidy was absolutely amazing! It took me back to my childhood and all those memories of my early teens! His vocals are so strong his personality is on point and all the history he told of his life was so interesting. One word, Mesmerizing!
I admit, I was not a Shaun Cassidy fan in the 70s, but many of my friends were. I was a Bay City Rollers fan (who amusingly, got a mention in this show.) Still, I owned a couple of Shaun's singles at the time, as I bought all the Top 40 45s back then. I went to this show out of curiosity, to relive my pre-teen Tiger Beat days. Decades past his teen idol phase, I could not imagine him touring after all this time, or what the show could possibly contain. He's been working behind the scenes since then, and how would that translate to a show *now*, I wondered? What we got was a total surprise to me. It's a musical biography of this multi-talented man's life and his very famous family. Accompanied by two musicians on piano, acoustic and electric guitars, one being his adorable nephew. We see two generations of the talented Cassidy family on stage. There are poignant tributes to his relatives passed. There's a mix of songs and reminiscent commentary, funny stories, show tunes, well selected traditional Christmas songs, and a few of his own teen hits. Some of which were classic early rock& roll numbers. I was happy to hear the unexpected Christmas songs and see the festive holiday stage set with grand piano. It was a top notch production. Recommended for anyone who enjoys timeless music and amusing tales of showbiz history. Not sure if the show will continue past Christmas, or change in some way afterwards, but he's a captive entertainer on stage and worth an evening out.
Wonderful music and touching stories. Well worth the money, even my husband that I dragged along liked it and he was not a Shaun Cassidy Groupie like me.
Shaun is an amazing storyteller and singer, what an incredible night!
I saw Shaun Cassidy when I was a child. That experience left a huge impact on me. It was such a fun time. This was a next level core memory experience! I’m so grateful I got to experience my childhood crush play a show as an adult. The music and the stories were magical. He sounds amazing and hearing stories tied to the music only makes me love it all more!
Shaun was VERY entertaining! When he played "Ill meet you halfway"I cried. Thanks for the memories!!!
The stories, and coming to terms with childhood and growing, were very heartfelt. The music was wonderful. Great mix of old songs, Christmas music and old show tunes.
Whether you're a fan of Shaun Cassidy or not...it's an wonderful show. He tells funny stories and sings hit songs along with some old standards and Christmas songs. His tribute to brother David was so heartfelt. I can't wait till he comes back to town. Also enjoyed the VIP Q&A prior to the show. It was like sitting in a room with him and having an awesome conversation. He's so friendly and funny and warm. After 40 years he did not disappoint. Really filled my heart with happiness and joy.
Shaun Cassidy put on an excellent performance - His show was a great mixture of singing and story telling and really telling us (the audience) about him and his life - and really how we all have a story to tell. Great show!
I actually won two tickets and brought a friend . I admit growing up, neither of us were teen fans of Shawn’s so we didn’t know what to expect. We were thoroughly entertained with his stories and music. Very grateful to have seen him at such a great venue. The house floor was full with his fans which was so nice to see.
