Slipknot in Concert

Theatrical nu-metal act Slipknot approaches live concerts in a different fashion than most touring acts. Rather than being acknowledged by name, each member of the nine-piece act is referred to by a number and each dons an industrial jumpsuit and his own unique mask. The concept serves dual purposes: to entertain fans and keep the musicians focused on performing.

Since their 1995 debut, the Iowa-based heavy metal outfit has had an easy time selling albums and tickets, with their 1999 eponymous debut making it onto The Billboard 200 and earning double-platinum status. Three full-length releases have followed, with a 2014 collection rumored to be in the works.

Slipknot, a regular on the Ozzfest tour circuit along with their own headlining runs, earned a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2006 for the single "Before I Forget" from 2004's "Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)." The band worked with iconic producer Rick Rubin on the collection, which marks the group's only profanity-free effort.

Slipknot on Tour

Following the enormous success of 2019's inaugural Knotfest Roadshow tour, the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning hard rock band, Slipknot announced they will headline the Knotfest Roadshow 2020. Joining them to showcase the best the world of heavy music has to offer are special guests A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange.

  • Amazing show

Slipknot puts on such an amazing show! The crowd is so hype, it was my first Slipknot show and it was a great experience!

  • The greatest band to ever exist

by Earl Watson on 2/3/25Rating: 5 out of 5

It’s hard to explain how incredible a Slipknot concert is. I went to my first show by myself in 2021, in Raleigh NC. I was in the front left section. Slipknot was already my favorite band and I’ve watched all their live concerts, but nothing compared to what it was like seeing it in person. Since then I’ve seen them 7 times. Raleigh, Greensboro, blue ridge rock fest 2x, Alpharetta GA, moline IL, and the last was at Madison square garden for the 25 year anniversary. Every chance I get, I will see them. It is a once in a lifetime experience every single time. And they are the greatest live band in rock.

  • The Best

by Chloe M. on 10/27/24Moody Center ATX - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

Slipknot shows are always insane. Even though this setlist was only the track listing from their debut album, it had all the energy of a typical Slipknot show. Keep in mind, the debut album has a lot of bangers that catapulted them into where they are now.

  • Will never forget this concert

by w1lljc on IG on 10/11/24Rating: 5 out of 5

2nd ever concert and got pit tickets. Absolutely loved the set and the presentation of everything. Tortilla gave me one of his dreads aswell as both of his sticks plus i got thrown one of jim’s Picks. Other than that the show was life changing

  • Love Slipknot

by Lil Dawnett on 10/2/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

I love Slipknot but i was very disappointed with their show. Ive been to several show and this is was very very disappointing. It was my husbands 1st time ever seeing them and he wasnt very happy either. I get that it was their 25th anniversary show they could have played all their songs from all their albums i was looking forward to cory taylor doing a song called maybe its time, along with all the other songs from 00 on up. Maybe the next time the show will be better. ive seen shows where the whole entire crowd is moshing in the seats and in ga there was nothing of sort. dont get me wrong I LOVE SLIPKNOT very much but not all happy with just this show. we left way before the show ended

  • Awesome

by Awesome on 9/29/24Rating: 5 out of 5

My first time catching a Slipknot concert follow by Knocked Loose and Vended. The energy was off explosive on the intuit dome. I wish I had done it sooner. I hope to see them comeback to Los Angeles CA.

  • Great show

by Roland S on 9/28/24Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre - PhoenixRating: 5 out of 5

Of course Slipknot killed it celebrating the 25th Anniversary. Reall like the venue as well. Having seats and the opportunity to walk the lawn worked out well.

  • Slipknot kills!

by Oz on 9/26/24Moody Center ATX - AustinRating: 5 out of 5

Never seen them until now even though I love them. Found out a month after getting tickets it was an anniversary tour and only first album on the setlist. Honestly this was disappointing as I love the later stuff as well and was looking forward to seeing this material as well. As for THIS SHOW? It shreds! This is very technical precise heavy metal and everyone knocked it out of the park. They are all at the top of their game and it shows in their precision! Amazing show by some of the best artists in the business.

  • A once in a lifetime experience

by Matthew on 9/26/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

Slipknot’s 25th year anniversary was something I will never forget. Everything from the lineup to thr VIP experience was insanely cool and was worth every penny. A huge thank you to Live Nation, Whiteriver Amphitheater staff and Slipknot’s road crew for being so welcoming and cool towards everybody.
