Ever since her debut in the early '90s, comedy queen Sommore has had audiences falling out of their seats with her witty skits on the female perspective. Dubbed "a force to be reckoned with in the new millennium” by Oprah Winfrey, Sommore delivers her often-controversial jokes in a lighthearted manner and is never afraid to push the boundaries with her animated shows. Oozing with sass and style, her skits are as funny as ever as she hosts the 2014 Standing Ovation Tour, where she'll perform alongside a number of highly acclaimed comedians. 

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Atlanta-based comedian Sommore has been performing stand-up comedy for over 20 years, earning her first recognition in 1994 as host of BET's "Comic View." Since then, she's exploded onto the scene with a number of hit comedy performances, including the Guinness World Record-breaking "Queens of Comedy" tour alongside Laura Hayes, Mo'Nique, and Adele Givens. Not only has Sommore had a widely successful career as a female comedian, but she's also appeared on numerous talk shows and acted in many films and television series, proving she's an entertainer at heart. Back on the road for a string of highly anticipated shows, Sommore will have fans rolling on the floor with her latest stand-up routine.

    This was a great team of headliner comics. Sommore played a major role in keeping a upbeat cadence. There was never a dull moment. Arnez J showed his tale, Lavelle made you wanna pee on yourself for laughing so hard. And the rest the comics provided excellent comic relief. I'm happy with our front row seat and if they tour together again we will be there. The only thing that was missing was Entertainer Merch. We came and wanted to buy a lot but there wasn't any available please correct that next tour.

    The show was amazing and I loved how they the venue had the air on prior it really made it more comfortable because even if it’s cold outside when so many gather it can get warm inside but show sommore was awesome

    The legends of comedy show was absolutely fabulous! Sommore killed it on all fronts, as the emcee and as a comedian. She was phenomenal. And she looked stunning. All of her jokes hit hard and kept the crowd in stitches. I can’t wait until she does a solo comedy special. I’ll be first in line to buy those tickets. It was a great lineup. All of the featured comedians were hilarious. My favorite was Don DC Curry. I haven’t seen him in years. He was just as funny as he was the last time I saw him.

    This was my husband and I first comedy show and definitely will not be our last. They were funny from start to end. We really enjoyed our birthday celebration.
