Hard to believe Yow is 64, he has better energy at the stage than most cool bands nowadays. I can die happy now that I saw them live.
David Yow is still full of stamina, even at age 64. Came out right away and sang seasick while crowd surfing, which he did multiple times through the show. The entire band sounded super tight and put on a killer show! Great set list. Came out for multiple encores.
It’s been over 5 years since The Jesus Lizard last toured. The haven’t missed a beat and the new album is decent. This was my first experience at The Salt Shed and it looks like a great venue in a part of the city not overcrowded with competition.
The best live band in the world. See them as much as you can.
First time at the Neptune and it was a great venue. Saw Jesus Lizard for the first time and they were good!
What a show! The band provides one of the most savage soundtracks ever while Yow is living, breathing chaos. He used the crowd as a bouncey castle all night.
My only issue was cordoning off the balcony to some VIP crap. This is the first time I've been to St. Andrews and not been able to get get above the crowd to see a show. I've been going there since the late 80's.
Simply put, there is no better live band. Pair that with an awesome venue for live music and what more could you want?
