Resistive service for seats

The description promised a private place with service that would get your food and drinks. First, my waitress barely noticed I was there. I had to wave to get her attention. After I got my initial food and drink order in and a subsequent soda, the waitress disappeared. No one knew where she was. At 4PM, when I wanted another drink, I had to walk up to the bar and get it myself. At the end of the day, if I didn't ask the security guard to find someone, no one would have closed out my tab from th earlier food. The view at the stretch was great, the burger I did eat was fabulous, and the security guard was a sweetheart who watched out for me. Those are the only reasons I didn't give this experience 1-star. For the price, I was promised something exclusive and special. I didn't get it. I sat in the clubhouse the next day. It was just as good. While I had to go get my own food and drinks, the walk was shorter and I wasn't promised a waitress.
Having attended the meet in Saratoga for many years, always sitting in the grandstand, I was impressed with how comfortable the seats were and the extra leg room. On the downside I did not like it that I could not bring in any outside food or beverage, not even water (I was sitting in the rows of seats in front of the boxes, not in a box) By the 6th race we had bees buzzing all around us, realizing we were seated right next to an 'open' barrel trash can that as more garbage was disposed, more bees appeared. I would expect that since no outside food or beverage was allowed the wait staff should have been disposing of the garbage some place other than at the end of row F in every section or at least have a lid on the can. I probably will probable go back to sitting in the grandstand next year.
The Stretch was great. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. You can order at your seat or the counter. Our view was very good. Our seats were covered. We will do it again.
Stretch was really nice, however at the bottom of the stretch there was a bees nest which made it uncomfortable to sit and have a drink there. Other than that, was a great day.
The Cutwater Stretch is an awesome way to experience the track. You have room to be comfortable and seat service for food and drinks. Our excellent server, Leah was so attentive and personable. Worth the minimal extra cost. Try it, you'll love it!
Diagram showing seats in covered location. These seats were in direct sun and uncovered. After payment the tickets did say uncovered. Unfortunately I paid more than $120 for seat I couldn’t use.
Seats were not good. Paid $60 each for high table with stools. Terrible view and uncomfortable. Place was empty on a Sunday so moved my disabled dad to an empty flat table 10 feet away and they made me pay another $120. Food was way over priced and comes out in a cardboard box with plastic utensils. . Saratoga has become all commercial. Last trip I make.
Whether sitting in your seats or up by the bar with betting screens in front of you, you are immersed into each thrilling race
The area, seating was good. Could have used some more waitstaff. Good for betting and bar bit again waitstaff lacking.
