Tyrese Gibson, known to most simply as Tyrese, has the art of ticket sales down. Not only has he forged a successful music career, but he’s also a driving force in “The Fast and the Furious” movie franchise — not to mention an international supermodel, MTV VJ and New York Times bestseller.
The Los Angeles-born R&B singer has sold more than 3 million albums and counting, beginning with his 1998 self-titled RCA Records debut and extending through his fifth release, 2011’s “Open Invitation.” He took home an American Music Award in 2000 for Favorite New R&B/Soul Artist, as well as three Grammy Award nominations.

In 2007, Tyrese joined forces with Ginuwine and Tank to form the supergroup TGT. The trio unveiled their long-awaited debut album, “Three Kings,” in August 2013, and took their sexy R&B on tour, performing concerts in theaters across the U.S.

Tyrese is preparing to unveil his sixth solo set, “Black Rose,” in 2014. The collection will be a double album, according to a March 2013 interview with the Grammy Foundation, for which he recorded 146 songs over the course of 34 days.

    MC spent more time talking than the entertainers spent performing. Show started an hour late, while MC spent the whole time talking about nothing. Show started at 9pm and I left at 1030pm after Tyrese stated they told him the show had to be over in 5 minutes. WORST

    The performance was great. Unfortunately Tyrese open up the floor for anyone who wanted to come to the stage from the back, causing myself and others in Orchestra pit, unable to enjoy the show without standing the entire show. He is a great entertainer but need to consider those who are spending money for great seats to enjoy the show.

    Absolutely loved KeKe Wyatt, her personality and voice to die for. Kelly Price did her thing, love her too. Mr. Tyrese, no words, his talent speaks for itself! I would attend again!!

    The concert was great ! I really enjoyed all three artists especially Tyrese. He has a great stage presence and engages with the audience. My mobile tickets were easy to access., I had an awesome time.

    Good concert but......how in the heck does Kelly Price come to Detroit (Fox Theater - May 9, 2025) and NOT perform her most cherished song - "Friend of Mine". Then the promoter comes out and apologizes and says "It's not my fault". He got booed. Still it was worth hearing all the artist live vocals (Tyrese, KeKe Wyatt, Kelly Price). They sounded good live in person.
