The Kevin Cronin Band features the same talented lineup that has been thrilling audiences throughout the 2024 tour as REO Speedwagon. Cronin, the legendary voice and writer behind REO's chart-topping hits like "Keep On Loving You" and "Can't Fight This Feeling," continues to be joined onstage by lead guitarist Dave Amato and drummer Bryan Hitt, who have played in REO Speedwagon since 1989. Additionally, Derek Hilland, who previously toured with Foreigner, Rick Springfield, Whitesnake, and more, was REO's touring keyboard player since January 2023. The band is rounded out by Matt Bissonette, who brought his extensive experience touring with Elton John from 2012 through 2023, to his role as REO Speedwagon's touring bassist since November 2023.
I was pleasantly surprised this past weekend. They opened for STYX, and sounded fabulous !!! Kevin did not talk a lot, and the band played their heart and souls out. I saw them back in the 80s as REO Speedwagon.
Loved The Kevin Cronin Band. Heard them three time this past summer, when they were still under the REO Speedwagon name. They sound excellent!! Keep on rockin’ boys!!
I get that this is a new situation for the band, however the concert was initially promoted as REO Speedwagon. Later changed to the Kevin Cronin Band. Appreciate the explanation given at the beginning but didn't appreciate the bland first half of the show. And by lack of audience applause, most others didn't either. People sitting next to us left early. If the whole show was as entertaining as the last 4 songs it would be a hit. As it was, just so so.

The second half of the show was great, they played there hits. The first part I didn't care for at all. Kevin stated it was his most popular album but I didn't know one song on it. The whole audience was around my age 65 and many of them were disappointed as well. He should be playing all of this old hit's!..... I have seen REO many times, I've even brought my children to see them. Racine, WI was a frequent stop for them in his early days and I've seen them several time after that. Keven will know Racine. His x-wife if from there, one of the Wells sisters....
This was their first show of the tour post-REO. They played a good show in a very stripped-down format at a casino. We had great seats and the price was great, but the sound was muddy. Lots of volume and too little tonal definition. Glad I got to see them again though. Love these guys.
