Enjoyed the laughs

Upon entering the theatre the all of the staff that I enteracted with were super friendly. Our seats were perfect row B. The performers did a great job conveying the meaning behind Shrek and capturing the comedic moments for the adults and the youth. The sets were well made. Overall we enjoyed ourselves!

Engaging performance with a critical message.

In addition to the beautiful performance, the performance delivered a great message, which was not captured clearly in the movie Shrek. The story of Princess Fiona and Shrek is not what the storybooks depict and romanticize. True love is accepting someone as they are and not trying to change each other. This is a critical message for our time.

Cute but not our favorite

Obviously lower budget than many shows. It kept us somewhat entertained but we weren’t wowed at all. Even my teen musical theater kid was meh…. Not worth the $$$ in my opinion.

Luckily we got a deal on our tickets otherwise this is not broadway level and not worth broadway touring prices.
