About

The weird and wonderful family comes to devilishly delightful life in THE ADDAMS FAMILY. This magnificently macabre new musical comedy is "a visually satisfying, rib-tickling, lunatic musical that will entertain you to death!" says Toronto Post City. Created by Jersey Boys authors Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, Drama Desk-winning composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party), choreographer Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys) and Olivier Award-winning director/designers Phelim McDermott & Julian Crouch (Shockheaded Peter) with production supervision by four-time Tony Award® winner Jerry Zaks, THE ADDAMS FAMILY "is full of charm, wit and surprises that explain why it's a hit on its national tour" (CBS New Orleans).

THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family. A man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, she confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's "normal" boyfriend and his parents.

Come meet the family. We'll leave the lights off for you.

We weren't sure what to expect and were BLOWN away with the show! The singing, dancing and acting were so good and we enjoyed every minute of it. Orchestra was wonderful and we loved snapping along with the music.

Hilarious! Fun! The performances were excellent. The cast was very talented and it was good that the major characters all had spotlight performances.

This musical was so funny, great characters and great acting/singing! Some very funny references and a few skillful innuendos made for adults but definitely not a problem for kids. I would see it again in a heartbeat!

  • The Best!

One of the most enjoyable shows I seen in a long time. Each actor was phenomenal in their respective roles and they were wonderful singers with massive ranges. We could not believe how every cast member was extraordinary! The tickets are worth every penny!

  • It was great!

This revival of The Addams Family was totally great. The main actors were all superb as were the supporting "ghosts"who arose from the graves to be fine dancers and singers. Each of the main characters were given standout pieces of their own that were outstanding. The show was totally enjoyable. I just wish that there were more live musicians in the orchestra pit. The musicians in the pit had to work around synth pre-records. Live is always better.

  • Nice

Les falló en el intermedio, no avisaron que iniciaba, ni que terminaba. El segundo tiempo es mucho mejor que la primera.

The story was predictable and really didn’t say much about the Addams Family story. Wednesday gave up her very cool dark personality for a boy??? It lasted 2 1/2 hours with the 30 minute, unnecessary intermission. The bright light was the character that played the boys mother. She was energetic, funny and had an amazing voice. But, I wouldn’t waste another 2 1/2 hours on this production.
